Are tinted lenses the same as sunglasses?

While all sunglasses include tinted lenses, not all tinted glasses are suitable to keep the sun out of the wearer’s eye. It is recommended that tinted glasses have at least 60% tint to be used as tinted sunglasses. However, tints less than 60% work great for fashion tinted eyeglasses.

Is it OK to wear tinted glasses indoors?
